It’s morning in Soldotna
In 2023, the Soldotna Public Library’s allowance of a planned drag queen story hour prompted residents of the Kenai-Soldotna region to respond strongly in opposition. Despite the event being cancelled just days before its planned debut, many showed up to stand outside the library just in case the subversive freaks tried to pull a fast one on us. It was about this time that I was inspired to be more involved in my community’s public business and the arresting the degradation of public morality.
Not long after this, I, along with several friends of mine, looked into the materials available for checkout at our local library and were infuriated at the degeneracy being pushed upon the children and young adults of our city using our own money. We protested these materials through the “proper channels” with the City Librarian and testified at city council meetings about the inappropriateness of the materials in our public library. Our city leadership and the Librarian had a clear message:
“We’re going to trans your kids and you’re going to pay for it and your objections amuse us.”
Many of you on this list may know me from one of a few presentations I made at area churches around that same timeframe. The desire was to take the typical disjointed, disorganized, ineffective conservative response to such things and make it a force to be reckoned with, no longer content with merely losing graciously.
I want to start winning!
So, the Christian Civic Action League was formed. We will be that mechanism of organization and mobilization so desperately needed on the Right. We are planning and strategizing our response to things such as porno books in our local libraries, pride-in-the-park and sodomy celebration parades, etc. We will be working to educate the residents of the cities of Kenai and Soldotna on the positions that their elected leaders take on such issues of public morality and who is promising to do better.
To help this effort, please forward this message to your friends and consider making a donation on our website so that we may get to work with printed materials, candidate surveys, petition campaigns and so much more that we have in store.
